1. Agreement and operator
These Terms govern your access to Inkybard, operated by Tiago Bernardon in Brazil. By accessing the service, creating an account, or using a shared view, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Inkybard. If a higher minimum age applies where you live, including 16 in certain European jurisdictions, that higher age applies unless valid authorization is provided by a parent or legal guardian. If you have not reached the age of legal majority, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms where required by law.
You may not use the service if doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining control of your email account and authentication links, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Do not share authentication credentials or attempt to access another person’s account. Public player links are separate bearer links and should be treated as confidential unless you intend broader access.
4. The service
Inkybard provides tools for organizing tabletop role-playing campaigns, sessions, entities, and relationships. Features, limits, and availability may evolve. Free or preview features may be modified or discontinued, subject to applicable law.
The service is not a guaranteed backup or archival system. Keep independent copies of content that is important to you.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Inkybard a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, format, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and provide features you request. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backup, legal, or technical retention.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for content you submit. You are responsible for your content and for deciding what to share.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Inkybard to:
- Break the law, facilitate fraud, or violate another person’s privacy, publicity, contractual, or intellectual-property rights.
- Upload malware, attack or probe systems, bypass access controls or limits, scrape at unreasonable scale, or interfere with service operation.
- Publish or share content that sexually exploits minors, makes credible threats, unlawfully promotes violence or hatred, or is otherwise illegal.
- Impersonate others, mislead people about the origin of content, spam, or use the service to distribute unsolicited communications.
- Attempt to reverse engineer protected portions of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
7. Sharing links
You decide whether to create a player link and are responsible for reviewing the resulting view and selecting recipients. Anyone with a valid link may view its contents until it is revoked or replaced. Inkybard is not responsible for recipients copying or redistributing information they were able to access.
Technical filters are an aid, not a substitute for review. Details written directly into shared session text may reveal information even when a related entity profile is marked secret.
8. Paid features
Paid plans, if and when made available, will be governed by the offer displayed at checkout, including price, currency, included features, taxes, and any refund or cancellation rights required by law. A one-time or “lifetime” Founder purchase includes the benefits identified as part of Founder in the purchased offer and future features expressly added to the Founder plan, for the commercial life of Inkybard; it does not guarantee perpetual operation.
Founder does not automatically include features assigned to other current or future plans, separate products, paid add-ons, third-party services, or usage-based features. A roadmap, prototype, community goal, or general announcement does not add a feature to Founder unless Inkybard expressly identifies it as part of that plan.
No purchase is completed until a checkout explicitly confirms it. Nothing currently displayed as upcoming or optional creates an obligation to sell or reserve a plan. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Inkybard at any time and may request account deletion. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security risk, legal requirement, non-payment, or material harm to the service or others. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice or an opportunity to remedy the issue.
Provisions concerning ownership, liability, disputes, and obligations that by nature should survive will remain effective after termination.
10. Third-party services
Inkybard depends on third-party operational services and may link to external sites. We do not control external services and are not responsible for their independent content, availability, or practices. Your use of them may be subject to separate terms.
11. Availability and disclaimers
Inkybard is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent preservation of content, compatibility with every device, or that the service will meet every purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inkybard and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, or loss of data arising from use or inability to use the service. For claims that may legally be limited, aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Inkybard during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$50.
These limitations do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Inkybard and its operator against third-party claims arising from your unlawful content, your infringement of another person’s rights, or your material violation of these Terms. This does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Inkybard’s own conduct.
14. Changes
We may update the service or these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means before taking effect when required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; otherwise, you may stop using the service. Changes do not retroactively reduce accrued mandatory rights.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without excluding mandatory protections available under the law where you live. Brazilian courts will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer or data-protection law grants you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Before filing a claim, we encourage you to contact privacy@inkybard.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
16. General provisions
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without consent; we may transfer the service as part of a legitimate reorganization, subject to applicable law and continued protection of personal information.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement governing the service, together with any specific terms presented for a paid transaction.
